*Posting images hosted on other sites (hot linking)- Images or pictures hosted offsite are not permitted for a variety of reasons. Society of Skilling - Clan Rules Empty Re: Society of Skilling - Clan Rules

*Rules & Guidelines
What's a clan without Rules to be enforced for control? Of course, we have our own rules.

1. Be MATURE - This means no cussing, flaming, being immature and childish.

2.Do not SPAM - Don't spam the Clan Chat with a bunch of nonsense. It'll drive us nuts and you could miss important information.

3.Do not BEG OR PLEA - This is part of Rule #1, I've seen many people in the past asking me for rank-ups and people who plea for help. Be mature about it if they say no and go seek someone else. Begging and pleading will get you nothing...

4.Obey ALL RUNESCAPE RULES - Since we're apart of Runescape, we should follow any rules or policies they have, meaning NO BOTS.

5. DO NOT ASK FOR A RANK UP - Don't ask us "Can you change my rank?", "Please rank me up!" or ANYTHING related to your rank. This really ticks us off. This proves you pretty much a waste of space and time to even be in this clan. It makes me sick that people like this join for ranks.

6. Inactivity & "Non" Clanmates - This has been the main cause of my other Clan's deaths. Be sure you log in at least two times a month to ensure you're active. Otherwise, you'll be kicked. If you aren't contributing to the Clan, this will result a kick too.

*More rules will be added as the Clan develops.
**Failure to follow these rules will result in Infractions.
Infractions are marks that show you've broken the rules.
1 Infraction = Warning
2 Infractions = Temp. Kick
3 Infractions = Perm. Kick, 3 strikes, you're out.

1.3 Clan Ranks/Ranking Policy

*The highest rank you can get to is General. If you get ranked to Lieutenant, Captain or General, you're responsible in ensuring new Members know the ropes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Society of Skilling - Clan Rules Empty Re: Society of Skilling - Clan Rules

1.5 Clan Events

Of course, we do have our own events for our Clans to have fun in! Our Event Planners will plan out some Events every week of every month of every year! (Try saying that fast three times) Our Event Planners will work tirelessly to supply us with these fun events, such as skilling, recruiting, and more events. Of course, all events expect the Recruiting Event will take place in WORLD 33. Below are some examples of events you can expect to see:

Skilling Events:
The purpose of these events is to gather Clan Members and have them bond with other members of the Clan while training their skills, and also contributing to the Clan. What do I mean by contributing to the Clan? Well, each Skilling Event will require each Clan Member to donate at least 50 resources (ex. Fish, Logs, Ore, etc.). We require funds to fund our Clan with Lotteries, and other events involving prizes.

Recruitment Events
All Clan Members will need to try and help out with the Clan by recruiting players into our humble home. This will help the Clan greatly in many ways.
You're not forced to, but we really, really, REALLY need some Clan Members to really help us recruit.

The Player of the Month (PotM)
Each month, the High Ranked Officials will vote for the most hardworking, friendly, and contributing Clan Member, and that member will receive 20% of the Clan Bank's funds (Clan Bank will be discussed further down) as well as a celebration in-game and a featured post on them on the Forums!

Monthly Lotteries
Each month, we will take another 20% of the Clan Bank's funds to give a random Clan Member (Excluding us High Ranked Officials) that amount of money. The winner can win the 20%, an item or items, or even both! Be sure to donate to the Clan Bank!

We have much more events, but I can't spoil anymore events, so stick around!

1.6 Clan Wars

It's official, we'll be doing Clan Wars with other Clans! How would this work out? Well, the War Master(s) (yet to be named) as well as any other High Ranked Official interested in Clan Wars will develop strategies and tactics to help us succeed in victory. For those interested in participating in our Wars, you should seek out the War Master(s) and have him/her/them prepare you. I am unaware how these things work since I'm really not officially interested in this, so it's best to consult with the War Master(s). If a War is coming, the War Master(s) will try their best to prepare you for the upcoming battle. Of course, you'll need combat equipment, and the tendency to be able to communicate effectively, listen, and follow orders.

The War Master(s) may declare/accept the following wars:

• Fun Wars –
This type of war is meant to be a fun event between two clans just to test their teamwork skills. Basically, a war where you guys can practice.

* Ranking Wars –
This war type is for a ranked position in a tourney. For some clans, ranking determines the clan’s status in the community and their worth as a team. If you participate in rankings, it is a good idea to be able to communicate clearly and train regularly through combat based events.

BATTLE FOR THE GLORY OF THE SOCIETY!!!
*We won't start until we found a War Master

1.8 The Vault

Remember how I mention the Clan Bank and stuff in the earlier posts? Well, if you're dang curious what it is, well, here is the post that explains everything about The Vault (the Clan Bank). The Vault is where all the Clan's resources go to be sold for extra funds. These extra funds will go to the Vault to be stored as the Clan's personal stack of cash.

Allow me to expand, each week, we will host a Skilling Event for people to train their skills and gather resources, like fish or wood. Now, this is how things will work, a High Ranked Official will arrive and collect resources from the people present. It's completely optional btw. You simply trade the resources and the Official will put it in their bank. Eventually these items gathered will be traded to an extra account to hold all the Clan's Funds.

If you think we're going to keep the money ourselves, you're absolutely, WRONG! We want the best for our Clan Members! So what do we do with the Funds..? Here's the simple way with percentages:
*20% of funds goes to the Player of the Month
*20% of funds goes to the Monthly Lottery
*50% of funds will be spent on Clan War Equipment
*10% of funds will stay in the Vault for misc. uses.

If you're interested in helping us get started by donating, please find me in-game with you're donations ready.

1.9: Clan Pictures [NEW]

Each month, the Clan will take a Clan Picture where all* Clan Members will be in it! Each picture will then be posted on our Clan Site so all the Clan Members can view it. Each month (Sorry for beginning each sentence with "each"...), we will select a area to take a picture in, along with a theme. (Example: July, it's summer, so Karajma is a good place to take a picture at, along with the theme of "SHORTS"!) Once again, the Clan Pictures will be posted on our Clan Site! If you don't know what the site is, please ask us in-game, we want you guys to see the pictures..! Smile

The Clan Pictures will be arranged as an event and will take place on a low-populated world (World 33 most likely) and the time will most likely be 6:00 PM Central Time. (Refer to Time Conversion Chart above). Speak to us privately in-game if needed.

*By all, I mean the active Clan Members, not the one's who take up space and suck air.
